Mercedes-Benz Canada's preview identifies the 2027 Electric GLB and says hybrid variants will follow. It does not justify treating every future GLB powertrain as already specified for Canadian sale. The electric preview is the firmest basis for this update.
The electric models described by Mercedes-Benz Canada
The Canadian future-vehicle page describes an 85 kWh battery, 800-volt architecture and DC charging capability up to 320 kW. It lists 268 hp and 247 lb-ft for the GLB 250+, versus 349 hp and 380 lb-ft for the 350 4MATIC. Seating for up to seven is available.
Its preliminary range figures are 631 km for the 250+ and 614 km for the 350 4MATIC, measured on the European WLTP basis. They are not Canadian NRCan ratings. The published peak charging capability is also not a constant charging rate or a guaranteed stop duration.
Electric and hybrid information must stay separate
Mercedes-Benz says hybrid variants will follow the electric model, but the preview does not establish a complete Canadian hybrid specification. Applying the electric battery, output or range figures to a gasoline-assisted model would be wrong. Importing specifications from the outgoing GLB would be equally misleading.
This article therefore does not assign a Canadian hybrid output, price or delivery date. It also does not retain a platform-name claim merely because that architecture appears elsewhere in the manufacturer's range.
What does the arrival wording establish?
The page uses a relative arrival expression rather than a dated Canadian delivery commitment. A relative phrase on an undated page is not enough to calculate a reliable calendar date.
