The Genesis G90 and Mercedes-Benz S-Class should be compared by the equipment and ownership arrangements of the exact vehicle, not by calling one a “killer.” Start with rear-seat use, parking space, service access and the features included in the written quote.

These measurements help screen a garage or parking space, but door-opening room and mirror clearance still need checking. Neither horsepower nor wheelbase establishes which car will feel more comfortable to a particular passenger.
Rear-seat equipment can decide the comparison
The G90 brochure lists power rear seats, rear massage, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, air suspension and a 23-speaker audio system. Its Black version adds a distinct appearance treatment. Check the order sheet rather than assuming a photographed interior is the supplied configuration.
The Canadian S-Class overview distinguishes standard equipment from available rear-seat and suspension features. Ask the dealer to mark every item in your comparison as included, optional or unavailable on the quoted car. A base price is not a meaningful comparison when one quote includes the rear-seat package you need and the other does not.
Driver assistance is not autonomous driving
Genesis lists Highway Driving Assist II and several collision-avoidance and parking aids. Mercedes-Benz lists its own assistance equipment. Compare the Canadian owner manuals and actual package specifications, including driver responsibilities and operating limitations. This article does not claim hands-free capability for the G90 or Canadian availability of every overseas S-Class system.
Warranty and service access
Genesis’s Canadian G90 brochure describes five-year/100,000-km limited-warranty and scheduled-maintenance benefits, subject to terms. Valet-related service has geographic restrictions; confirm your address is covered. Mercedes-Benz’s Canadian FAQ lists a four-year/80,000-km basic warranty. Coverage is not the same as an unlimited maintenance plan, and the vehicle-specific documents govern.
For either car, request a written list of scheduled service, wear-item exclusions, optional protection products and connected-service renewal costs. Used examples need their original in-service date and remaining coverage verified.
